About the lessons :
The lessons on JoeyDahlia.com are created by me, they are not done by any other guitar player.
Each lesson is completely different, (even in the same category). I will try to create a new lessons per week.
The lessons are not demonstrations of my speed, nor are demonstrations of my speed with tab,
But small melodic phrases to open new doors .
PLEASE! DO NOT ASK ME TO PLAY FASTER.

All video lessons are played at a comfortable speed, it's up to you to play them faster if you so desire.
How to play the lessons :
1 --When playing a lesson, always play slow and smooth!, never play it too fast or sloppy!
The slower and smoother you play the faster you will be in the end!
2 --About the Tab
Use Page Up/Page Down and the up/down arrow keys to scroll up and down the score.
To play music in the background while you work, just set Scorch playing, then minimize the window!
*Not available for all scores. Some scores may only play an excerpt.
How Often Should You Play Daily
The Myth
Standard 2 HRS a Day :
2 Hrs -- 30 years pro
4 Hrs -- 15 years pro
6 hrs -- 7 years pro
8 hrs -- 4 years pro (not fun)
10 hrs -- 2 years pro (not fun, very upset stomach,)
12 hrs -- 1 year pro (not fun ,expect to throw up)
This is the first time you can see what the myth is doing for the guitar player.
If you work,play 2 times a day more often. 4 hrs a day split in 2 shifts will do wonders.
This is a video I did at 2 years.
No fast scales, all improb, great form ,a full library of phrases.
The guitar plays itself.
2 --Always use a metronome, start off very slow and work your way to a medium speed.
3 -- Always attack the string from a 180* degree angle.
PLEASE Pick each note with the least amount of movement possible.
*If you seen the Mega Fast videos it's hard to believe I played at that rate of speed inside of 8 months*
*Always keep an eye on my picking hand, I make the least amount of movement of any shredder! *

4-- When playing a lesson try to use different vibratos on different notes!
(make sure you use different fingers for vibrato).
Try using fast and slow vibratos on different note's
DO NOT LIMIT VIBRATO TO JUST ONE FINGER!
Each finger should have a fast or a slow vibrato.
5--Left and Right hand must work as one! they are a team.
Don'ts
do not play fast all day long!,
This is like building a wonderful trap , for you to die in!
